Our team consists of media experts with broad experience and a passion for search.

We have combined experience working in live television and for global streamers. We have strong relationships with UK and US broadcasters, production companies, and studios.

  • I set up Ibison in 2015 to create an executive search company which prizes lateral thinking and confidentiality. Our focus is on transformational leadership roles and finding smart solutions. We ‘bridge’ different worlds for our clients and find the best people to take them into new spaces. We are now a team of 12+, bringing together different skills and areas of expertise to bring our clients the best possible results.

    My background is in network journalism, TV production and artist management (eg Clare Balding, Gabby Logan, and The Hairy Bikers) and Ibison is the coming together of experience and connections I’ve built throughout my career.

    My interests are my daughter, my dog, spending time with family/friends, and travelling (when I have time!)

Nicola Ibison

Roland Carreras

  • I joined Ibison in September 2021. My objectives are building the Ibison team and implementing effective systems and processes to deliver outstanding results for clients. We recognise that the combination of informed lateral thinkers and concise, accurate data tends to lead to great outcomes. I started my career in the travel industry, working for Thomas Cook and British Airways in corporate travel management. Following this, I joined BUPA, running their occupational health businesses. Prior to joining ITG, I was an equity partner at the specialist agency, Galliard Healthcare Communications. Outside of work I enjoy Masters swimming and tasting wine.

Lynnette Happ

  • I joined Ibison in 2023 at an exciting time of growth and expansion. Our priority is to continue building strong partnerships with our brilliant clients in the UK and US and help them hire top talent.

    I started my career in executive search and made the move to Netflix in 2017 to take on a Global Talent Acquisition role. I started with Netflix in Los Angeles before moving to London to focus on global expansion.

    At Ibison, we are passionate about innovation, clear communication, inclusion, and simply being great partners to our clients and candidates.

    In my free time I enjoy travelling, swimming, and painting; and watching lots of documentaries and RuPaul’s Drag Race.

  • It’s a privilege to help Ibison’s clients and candidates find each other, and to play my part helping our expert, fun and passionate team deliver the best possible executive search process we can. Alongside this I work as a career and leadership coach, and I enjoy the additive way this experience and skillset complements and informs our work. I have been working in executive search, coaching and people/hr/talent acquisition management for over twenty years, in London and in New York. My early career was spent in marketing and advertising agencies, in account management, running campaigns for clients in the financial services, FMCG and charity sectors. I am a volunteer Samaritan, and when not working or doing that, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, keeping moderately fit, and tinkering with an old BMW.

Tim Mitchell

  • I joined Ibison in 2021, after studying French, Spanish and German at University. I enjoy the fact that we have such a broad range of clients, which includes some of the industry’s most exciting and forward-thinking production companies. As a Consultant, I work across all aspects of the search process, and have placed candidates for clients in areas such as documentary, entertainment, sport, news and more. Outside of work, I am passionate about music, travel, languages and enjoy running.

Sophie Cochrane

  • In my role as a Senior Associate at Ibison I work on our executive searches and research the industry. I am passionate about television, film and documentaries – especially Soviet films, but this is very niche! My skill-set includes researching, writing, coordinating and organising, and qualitative analysis. Before joining Ibison, I studied at UCL, completing a BA in Politics and Sociology, and an MA in Environmental Anthropology. I also spent time working in public affairs and politics. I am based in London.

  • I joined Ibison at the start of 2023, having completed an International Relations degree at Queen Mary University of London. As a Senior Associate, I work directly with our partners executing searches from start to finish, conducting research and meeting the most exciting people in the industry. I love that my role allows me to speak to new people every day and that I am constantly learning about the everchanging media landscape. I am looking forward to further growing with the company and expanding my knowledge across both Unscripted and Scripted genres. Aside from work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going on long walks and finding new and exciting food and coffee spots to try in London.

Robyn Harlow

Jo Blanket

  • I am the Team Coordinator at Ibison. My career history has mainly been PR focused, although I started out as an Executive Assistant within various media companies. Most recently my role was a Programme Publicity Manager at ITV and Channel 4. In my work-life, I pride myself upon my communication skills, organisational ability, attention to detail, proactivity, nurturing and building long-lasting relationships. In my personal life, my passions are travel, scuba diving and, of course, spending time with friends and family; oh, and I do love a musical and a good drama series!

Tasha Hall

  • I manage Ibison’s boutique roster of media talent, representing a variety of high-profile figures across all aspects of their working careers to enable a full and personal 360 management approach to each client. Over my career I have built close and trusted working relationships with my clients who have varied from actors, Olympians, TV presenters and, more recently, social media creators. Based in London, I enjoy being immersed in a vibrant city that holds a leading position in this exciting and progressive industry.

Francesca Sheppard

  • I am Ibison’s financial controller, working closely with Roland, our COO. I manage the company finances and am responsible for sending invoices, managing payments and, crucially, paying our team! I am very comfortable with back-office systems, credit control and confidentiality. I came on board on day 1 when the company set up in 2015, and before that I was company secretary for a large, family-owned building company, handling contracts ranging from small and bespoke to multi-millions in value.

    In my free time I love cooking, walking in the woodland near to where I live and posting photos of scenes on Instagram. I also negotiate life with two teenagers

Barrie Simpson

  • I joined Ibison in 2021. My role is to provide business support services, specialising in data security, compliance, and all aspects of the digital realm. My background is in e-commerce, insurance, and risk management. Outside of the office I enjoy gardening, looking after my canine charge Archie, spending time in my home in Turkey, cooking and eating out.
